BioGenerator, the startup arm of BioSTL, is helping cultivate the next generation of diverse bioscience entrepreneurs through its Venture Fellows program. Supported by JSMF, the fellowship provides underrepresented founders with funding, mentorship, and hands-on experience within BioGenerator’s investment team. Current fellows Guillermo Rivera-Gonzalez (CapyBio) and Grant Downes (TrueBind Bio) are leveraging the program to advance innovative solutions in drug development and life science tools, while also contributing to community outreach across St. Louis. The initiative reflects BioSTL’s broader commitment to building an inclusive innovation ecosystem that attracts and supports diverse talent.
