As Lab Manager at BioGenerator, the start-up arm of BioSTL, Christy oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization’s shared laboratory spaces, ensuring they run safely, efficiently, and collaboratively. She supports a diverse community of entrepreneurs and researchers by maintaining high-quality lab standards, coordinating facilities and equipment needs, and fostering an environment where early-stage companies can focus on advancing their science.
Christy has more than a decade of experience in the agricultural biotechnology and agtech startup sectors, where she has managed laboratory operations, supported 8+ facility relocations and construction projects, modeled complex cost-saving initiatives, and built systems to help research teams scale effectively. Her background in biological sciences, facilities management, and hands-on leadership within research environments gives her a deep understanding of what early-stage companies need to thrive—balancing operational excellence with scientific innovation.
Outside of work, Christy enjoys playing board games with her family, trying new recipes and cuisines with her husband, and cheering on her son as a sports mom. A self-professed lifelong learner, she loves exploring new skills through reading, podcasts, and creative projects.
