A proud alumnus of Illinois State University and the University of Illinois, his educational journey reflects a deep commitment to social issues, particularly homelessness in the Saint Louis area, a passion further demonstrated through his time as Secretary for the local Continuum of Care.
At BioSTL, Taylor’s role signifies a return to his early passions in biosciences, particularly genetics, marking a full-circle moment in his career. Taylor’s diverse experience in the grant management field, enriched by his involvement in healthcare and youth and family services, has endowed him with a broad and insightful understanding of the grant-making process, enabling him to adeptly navigate its various facets and complexities.
