Vijay Chauhan is a startup CEO of multiple companies in the Life Sciences space including: renewable energy, cancer diagnostics and consumer healthcare. He is leading BioSTL’s initiative to attract Israeli companies to St. Louis that are a fit with St. Louis corporations and investors.
Vijay has significant experience raising capital from angel, venture capital, private equity, strategic and governmental investors, developing business plans and forming strong management teams.
Vijay previously worked at Monsanto in St. Louis, MO as Vice President, General Manager, Nutrition and Consumer Sector where he worked on multiple M&A transactions investing over $5 billion towards the implementation of Monsanto’s Agriculture Biotech and Life Sciences strategy. He also developed a new business in the areas of consumer health/functional foods during his time with Monsanto.
Vijay has experience working for two management-consulting companies in the Boston area.
